Created during a one-month fellowship at the Jentel Artist Residency Program in Lower Piney Creek Valley near Sheridan, WY. The Powder River Basin location, once covered by an ancient shallow sea, overlooks scoria-topped rangeland hills to the Big Horn Mountains beyond.
