This piece is part of my project surveying hidden natural environments found below the earth’s surface, under water, and in the expanses of outer space. I research patterns based on cellular structures, plant, animal and soil microorganisms, sea creature colorations, geological formations, and galactic and planetary nebulae. Using transparent color layers, I abstract their similar archipelagic clusters, organic shapes and patterns.
